Comment:

You start with Link Wray; you end with Link Wray - THAT, my friends, is how you make a rock and roll mix.
A quickie mix to keep in practice, and to assemble some current fave raves - well, most aren't quite so current, but they sound good hanging out together, don't they? Tunes to play while plastering the city of Pittsburgh with flyers for the BIG WRECKLESS ERIC SHOW this Sunday - be there! Come to the 'burg - I'll find a place for you to crash.
Thanks to Joey for hipping me to at least one track here - or was it two? Thanks to Cruella for reelin' and rockin'. Thanks to DJ Karen for sharing boss mixes with the kids here at AotM. Thanks to Gerry for being back in action. Thanks to everyone else at art o' the mix - I just love ya. And thanks to god, all praise due to him.... wait, I didn't really just write that... my hand is possessed!
This mix goes out to Nikki Corvette, because she is a rock goddess. It also goes out to my hair - after 16 years of being a long-hair, I've just had it (nearly) all removed. They said that it would be a painless procedure ... it wasn't. O mighty Sampson...

"I thought you were going to ask me about the pig....."

Many cool picks. Espeically like the Yardbirds. So what made you decide to cut your hair?

Killer! Haven't heard the Cynics in forever. Did you at least dye it Chartreuse?

Why cut the hair? Two words: Job Interview. It's not a buzz cut, Moe - heaven forfend! It's just more ... respectable... ugh. But dying it chartreuse.... now THAT is a capital idea!

Too, too cool. Love so much it's silly to pick out but a hu-u-uge fan of Bo's 'Pills' since the Dolls learned me. Also thrilled the Genius Still Known as Wreckless Eric is on the loose in the Steel City - hope he hits NY!

very nice mix, sean. and a crew cut isn't too bad during these hot stretches. glad to see you haven't lost it (mixwise, that is...)

A baldy bean is the ideal wreckless cannonball summer look, & Link Wray is the ideal capper here.
(I'm not going to ask you about the pig, but look for something oinking & squeaking in your e-mail tonight!)

Looks excellent! Great opening trio; love your Beatles, Vinton and Cascades selections.
I wish you well on the interview - I just had one about an hour ago. Fortunately, I didn't have to get my hair cut; then I truly would be reelin'.

Super duper mix, Sean. About half of these tracks have been running around my head for the past week or so, BEFORE I saw this mix. Some weird Carl Jungian prophecy come true I fear. Still no1 in the rock n roll mix dept.....and thanks for the thanks!
