Comment:
Not the typical Motownmix, just a bunch of great lost tracks, there's so much fantastic music there and BTW don't you also think Supremes got better in the 70's ?Feedback:
This hits my soul Peter!
...no, p, you the soulMAN!
This looks great.
This looks great.
Good stuff! Anyone who's lookin for an incredible project...look no further to the recent series of Complete Motown Singles Boxsets being put out by Hip-O Select. It'll break the bank...but...OH MY!!

yes I know what you mean, I can't start buy one , then I wan't everyone and frankly I can't afford it right now, but it looks fantastic
De-LISH-uss! Gods bless that sweet soul music! The Supremes are just great any time.
Lots to care about, Peter ... Nice
Yay for not the typical. I love, love, LOVE that Martha & the Vs cut.
Respect. Glad you've brought these 'lost gems' to our attention. I must hunt them down. Or you could just send it me :) I'm with Jen, Re the Vandella's..
Looks great!
Happily, I don't know any of the songs, but all of the artists, so it must be great.
Well I like the Supremes 60s stuff better, but why quibble, this looks great. Got to see you out on the dance floor on Northern Soul night.
Awesome stuff.
Peter, I'd love to hear this. This is definitely more interesting to me than the average Motown mix. Great work!
From my past, and from my hometown... wow, wow, wow!!!
Obviously from well before my time . . . but this looks like a great listen. I seem to know the majority of the artists, but none of these picks. I'll go research. Great stuff - we need more of this . . . .
I'm in a bit of a Motown binge lately myself. I should probably look out for these tracks.
In reference to your title, why wouldn't ya? And yes, they did -- Stoned Love is a masterpiece, though I understand its non-inclusion here. This is a superior mix from an near endless source of musical goodness. But hey, you already knew that.
I got soul- we got soul- all God's children they got soul... great job P.
Yep, they got better, cooler and funkier. Excellent stuff all around. So good, indeed, I might just like to give it a lil' spin sometime . . .
If it means anything, my friend, I meant to name this mix as the first runner-up for MotW last week. I just had a brain bubble and neglected to do so. Sorry about that...
I hope you do a Vol. 2 of this series.
Too bad SoulJazzRecords doesn't try their hand at unearthing this kind of soul.

Wonderful, Peter - like Rob I think it looks like a really interesting choice of tracks. Great stuff.
Fantastic mix, but where are all the Swedish acts? ;) Sorry I missed this earlier, but you know that I was out of (Moe) town.
