Comment:

After the mega-scope of my last offering, I thought I'd scale it down a bit, albeit utilizing some similar components. The result is also a fun listen, with a few transitions that look crazy on paper but work perfectly on disc. Thanks to SwankQueen for the Simply Saucer track (as well as for reminding me of how much I like that Milkmen track) and to Orchid for the (absolutely jaw-dropping) Shack track. Title by Mr. Young, in a roundabout way. [Incidentally, when I originally posted this, I had forgotten to include the Happy Mondays track. As a result, the comments of Barrydali and hemizen should be read with that in mind--i.e., the track numbers of songs which they reference after track 5 should be adjusted accordingly. Sorry...]

Dude, you are fuckin' unstoppable these days. Holy shit, this looks amazing. Love the Chic into Megadeth, and pretty much the whole stretch from the Milkmen through the end. Outstanding.

Brilliant transition work! Didn't imagine 1-4 could work so well! Are you rendering me obsolete, using all my faves?

Always nice to see mixed-genre-ness from you, Rob. I do like that Mondays track a lot, and I love the Billie Holiday/Pet Shop Boys handoff! The Daniel Johnston and Flaming Lips tracks are great too.

Good times indeed! I mean this in a good way, but this looks like the kind of mix I'd make if I was drunk -- throwing caution to the wind and just mixing together songs that sound good without worrying if others think you're cool or not. And yes, this does look like fun. Hope I'm tall enough to ride.
