Comment:

My latest alt-DJ collaboration, this time with alma cogan. alma supplied the odds, I supplied the evens. On this occasion, my partner sent me a CD with 40 minutes' worth of music but left it to me to place those tracks in whatever order I wanted to place them. Once I finished making a mix from the submitted picks, I supplied the linking tracks. I'm seriously digging the result and alma's exact words (although, again, my partner hasn't yet *heard* the mix) were "[t]hat looks like the fucking business." Indeed, I think. Title from Wooden Wand. Thanks to sammyg123 for the Shack track and to Mr. P for actually helping me to discover how much I like the self-titled Zevon album.

Fantastic work you two! Nice to see how many genres are represented here, and I like the Warren Zevon, BJM and Buzzcocks picks a lot. Ditto Anthony on the Beastie Boys - that album's always a pleasant surprise when I put it on.

The nature of this collaboration is just about the only way I could submit a mix this days, sadly I can only get a connection for about 3 mins a day of late. Love this mix from start to finish, nice one guys.
