Comment:

I wanted to make a mix so badly after I heard the first song in the mix "Superhero", and was driving and just felt like I was on top of the world, that I was the coolest guy that ever lived. Confident, sexy, that whole thing. So I made this mix (didn't make it into CD form this time) to supplement that feeling. There are actually 10 more tracks that go after these... they are: 31. Kings of Leon - Molly's Chambers 32. The Dandy Warhols - Bohemian Like You 33. The Clash - Should I Stay Or Should I Go 34. T. Rex 20th Century Boy 35. Sweet - Ballroom Blitz 36. Butch Walker - Uncomfortably Numb 37. Ryan Adams - Shallow 38. New Radicals - Mother We Just Can't Get Enough 39. Chris Cornell - Mission 2000 40. Audioslave - Set It Off

Well, sorry to say I'm not really down with the techno portions, the Timberland, or the combined fatigue of The Bravery and THOSE particular Franz Ferdinand and Strokes songs, but other parts really blaze with genuine modern rock classics, like cuts by Jet, Burning Brides, Living End, and BRMC. Savvy collecting there. And the rest is either pure fun (Pink Spiders, Overseer, OK Go) or can't-go-wrong standards (Bowie, Lenny Kravitz, Jane's Addiction, Oasis), so big thumbs up. I'd love to hear this
