Comment:

Here's some music that was being made around the same time that
this happened just 85 miles from my home. it turned a sunny Sunday afternoon black as midnight and we got an entire week off from school!
listen to side one. listen to side two.

This looks like a ton of fun. Lots of great stuff and a few guilty pleasures, as well. :-)

And I suppose if you'd gotten hurt by the volcano, this mix would be titled Nurse with Wound? That cover is rad.

Wow, you must be the first tornado to survive a volcano. Everything about this mix looks cutting edge to me, in the best sense of the phrase. Will report back with sonic observations.

Fantastic! Loving side two in particular with the Echo, Siouxsie, Motels and Cocteau Twins. Ah, the Eighties did produce some great stuff.

Wonderful Adam & The Ants, Echo & The Bunnymen & Siouxsie choices. Infact, fine 'not the obvious' choices all around. All together now.. Ay Ay Ay Ay Mooo Seeee!

My absolute favorites are "Objet Du Desire", "In Trance", and "Ted's Reverie". But the whole thing is pure joy! Is it me or does it sound like they're saying "Ay Ay Ay Ay Lucie?". Well, in any case I love the carribean/highlife sound of that song. And your rather timely inclusion of "Christine".

Thought I'd hold off reporting until I'd had a good listen of this 'un. I can now report back that it's another TornadoZ gem - some old favourites (for me anyway) and some poppin' new ones. Thanks for the link as always!
