I haven't had a chance to post (or make) any mixes in quite sometime. Life has been maddening. You know when you feel like setting the whole world on fire and laughing maniacally as it burns? Well that's the theme of this of this mix. Despite the eclectic and diverse range of styles, this mix the songs flow almost flawlessly and I am pretty pleased with it; as well as with how my cover design. Yay! The actual CD doesn't have track 19 ( Everything Will Be Alright, by The Killers) I wanted to end it with that song so I could have a somewhat optimistic outro, but sadly the song would not fit and removing any other song destroyed the flawless flow of the compilation. I sure hope thats not an omen.

Nice mix! Rotorsand and 242 -- lovely way to show continuity. Great picks from Tones On Tail, Bolshoi, and People In Planes. Its great to see that someone else can see the threads running through the many decades of great alternative music.

Love this theme, love the artwork, love the tracklist. "Tiny Cities Made of Ashes" was MADE for this kind of mix. I put it on a similarly callous mix, "The Malevolent Aesthete". I like it when mixes end somewhat optimistic, but sometimes an ending of despair or surrender just FITS, y'know? Great job, I'm really liking what I've seen of your mixes.
