Comment:
New format! 192 kbps mp3's in two zip files.part1part2
Feedback:
Entirely too many fantastic choices to highlight via commentary. But, as usual, the depth of touch you display in sequencing old/new eras: Socrates > Olivia, July > Living Room, Flaming Lips > Bevis is astounding.
Strange cover! Great mix. And available in Crystal Clear mp3 format, mmmm. Love the Olivia Tremor - July run.
This looks fuckin' tremendous, despite the presence of the Scorpions (I feel confident, though, that the song you included is infinitely superior to the rest of their recorded output). ;-)
the only song I think I heard here is the My bloody Valentine one, unfortunally my PC i down and I don't think I can download on this one
Absolutely hilarious cover/title, and musically divine.
Good on ya' for the Ramon track. Helluva' tracklist actually, all the way top-to-bottom.

looks outstanding . . . and unusually for me, I actually recognise a lot of the tracks here and I cannot find a bad'un. That is a wierd cover though . . . creepy
Cool stuff, like that new Bardo Pond album, and can't say no to the Sundial, MBV, and Lips picks either. Thanks for the link!
I'm liking this mix immensly. Always love the inclusion of the OTC in any mixes, and I'm digging the 15-16 one-two closer.
Huzzah for the new format!!! Looks great, especially the 9-10 combo.
Entirely too many fantastic choices to highlight via commentary. The only choice is to download it. Love the symmetrical cover.
Nice mix. I have downloaded Part 1 but has anyone been able to get the Part 2 link to work? I keep getting error messages.
Really great mix. Cover too.
Looks as high quality as ever - glad I caught it before the end of the page. Also having problems with the link for part 2 - um, help?
Lo-Fi, Thanks for the pointer to the new blog. (Tried to leave a comment there, altho the latter proved be impossible unless you register as a blogger on the site.) So comment here: dug the Jet album, and hope to check in regularly. Thanks for finding all the great music. -Ed/Mixxer.
Wow, thanks again Rob! I'll reload this one later tonight. Since Ed mentioned it I'll take this opportunity to introduce my latest timewaster. I'm still fumbling my way through this alien world, but I've turned the comment moderation off so feel free to tell me what's on your mind.
doh. i missed these entirely. the links have expired. any chance i can still get these babies??
Just reposted the links. Should be ready for download now.
Congrats on MotW, and so glad that you got it - as I had no time to check it out last week. It looks wonderful, and I can't wait to give 'er a listen!
Excellent!! And like Jenny I'm glad that this was brought to the collective attention via MotW as I'm trying to catch up on what I've been missing. The 10-16 stretch is just gorgeous, and I like the Flaming Lips and Lovin' Spoonful too. Well done!
Congrats on MOTW lo-fi, a great listen and a much deserved accolade. Thanks for the link to your blogspot, it looks fantastic..
Utterly superb! A worthy MOTW!
Congrats. OTC!
FYI: Socrates Drank the Conium + Cough Syrup = Revelations Galore. Great, great stuff here - I'm lobin' it.
Congratulations on MOTW . . . . we all told you it was a great mix last week, didn't we !
Even better than I anticipated - that Colin Newman song rocks my world in a very big way. Great work
Congrats!!
sure enough; those are the same Scropions that Rocked Me Like a Hurricane over a decade later. I had no idea they were making such interesting music back in '72. and I need to blow the dust off my Colin Newman LPs, that's just a great song. other favorites are Basil Kirchin, Jun Kamikubo, Olivia Tremor Control and My Bloody Valentine is simply icing on this delicious cake. great pick for mix of the week, and thanks for the link refreshment.
Scropions!? [shit.]
great Chilton offering....
I cannot understand how I missed this; it's a doozy! Congratulations on the old MOTW award. No argument from me. That Rob Conroy knows his root vegetables.
Belated congrats from one of your biggest fans. I wasn't able to download it either... hope the link still works.
