Comment:
A seemingly disjointed mix that i made in attempt to trace a line from old to new forms of swing/roots/rockabilly. Made c.1997 for a friend who wanted to listen to more of this kind of stuff.Feedback:
A most laudable undertaking. You should write a thesis -- but you'll have to do the research on the artists involved more thoroughly. There ought to be two volumes, with two accompanying cds. For that, I'd attend your graduation myself. Go on, you'd have letters after your name instead of numbers -- looks great on the old c.v.There's some terrific music on here, by the way, though the last track on side one took me unawares -- I don't mean it's not good, I just mean it took me unawares. Well done.
