Comment:

For the girl that's been taking my breath away for the past three and a half months. This mix is a bit more emotionally complex than my standard romantic mix, but then again, this situation is more than a bit more emotionally complex than my standard romances. Title from the Van Morrison perennial. Oh, I forgot to say "thanks" to Barrydali for the Shack track and thanks to Mark P for the Daniel Johnston track (I keep meaning to buy his entire output, but have yet to have acquired the financial means to do so).

Really nice, Rob. 1,6,8,14-18 and 22 are all gems. Is the Nick Cave tune a Leonard Cohen cover?

was totally expecting the van the man song from the title. i always enjoy your romance-themed mixes the most, & this is no exception. my favorites are the van morrison, rolling stones, buddy holly, elvis, MBV, pixies, beach boys & dusty springfield songs - but there's alot more to love here. hope things turn out well.

Lord luvaduck! You have it bad, and apparently that's good. This mix, on the other hand comes down heavily on the side of GOOD! Sweet indeed.

Can I start out with a rather girly awwww! Anyway, this is such a nice mix and it makes me very happy to see it - you definitely deserve to have been inspired to do it (if that makes any sense). I really love that opening quintet (Angel is so simple and yet so effective - one of my favourites) and the Sleater-Kinney pick is great. I haven't heard that MBV cover but am very intrigued! Definitely a lucky girl.
