hahahaha! I read this and feel like I'm 8 years old again.
I was about 14 at that time, and yeah, an almost uncanny amount of those songs bring back memories to me too. In particular for some reason I can still remember a "hillarious" parody of
"This Used To Be My Playground" revolving around a teenage girl crashing her new car that my sister and I had made up at the time ("this used to be my car, this used to be my teenage dream, this used to be the car I drove in, whenever I was in green"). As for "Paraffin", man, I know I'd recognize that song if I heard it again, but damned if I can remember how it goes just now.
