Here is my bid for mix #10,000. Did I make? Did I? Oh, SHIT! I didn't. Dammit! NOTES: A}The Rosenberg 7 track features Ellika Frisell on viola. I mention this only because a) besides being a tremendous musician, she's also a BABE! I mean a MAJOR BABE! SCHWING!!! and b) in a mere matter of weeks, I'm going to get to see her live not once, but TWICE! That's right, you heard right, I'm gonna see this most BABALICIOUS OF BABES play a solo concert TWICE! Not that this means anything to you, but I just felt like bragging a little. B} There's some great blues here. I'm talkin' REAL good-ol-fashioned blues. Not the watered-down, so-called blues that I hear on the radio, but real, down-home, I'm-feelin'-so-bad-the-only-thing-I-can-do-is-sing-about-it blues. The kind of blues where you can just taste the dirt in your teeth. (Now before anybody flames me because they happen to to like modern-blues, please note that this is just my opinion. And yes, I do know that there is plenty of outstanding blues music being played by many outstanding blues musicians in this day and age. But, it is my opinion that the older stuff is better. Feel free to disagree with me.) Did I mention that Ellika Frisell is a BABE!
