Comment:

Combining many of my loves in life . . . travel, romance, guitars, excitement . . . an exploration of all things influenced by Gypsy music and some of the things they touched en route from India to the Middle East, through Eastern Europe and onto the Mediteranean and Flamenco. I can't say that this is all Gypsy music, but the spirit is there . . . GO WEST YOUNG MAN !!

Fine looking mix. Top marks for JT also, gobi. I've had my eye on a Jake Thackery box set in HMV for quite a while. 32 quid! Lend us a tenner...

I know very little of this, but am certainly interested in finding out more about this sub-genre.

Well now, apart from Jake, Mike, Cher, those Murder guys and Django this is tantalisingly mysterious. I would say more but I'd be faking it.

Doing some major catching up with mixes here, so apologies that I didn't give this the positive comments it deserves earlier. Looks really, really nice and very inspired - love the Django Reinhardt! adn "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves" is one of the few Cher songs I actually really like - great stuff all round.
