Comment:

No theme, no concept, no connection whatsoever between the songs -- just in the mood for some mid-tempo tunes, and this is what felt right. Got a new burning program, so I was playing with the cross-fading function -- not something I typically like on a mix, but a nice change of pace.

Love the mix, love the cover art too. it's got a connection now, even if it is just a French one!

One of the best mix titles I've seen for a while. Puntastic, you might say. Snort.

Yeah, I usually avoid cross-fade, mainly because it's like playing "Draw One" on Solitaire. It makes almost any transition sound good, so it sorta takes the art out of it. Still, this looks like a nice collection of songs.

great title and cover . . . some great choices too (really gettting into Robert Fripp & friends at the mo).Personally, I like a good cross fade if done well . . . not into cross fading absolutely everything on a mix . . . as you may know, moderation is my middle name!

Steady on, Mr. Kulcher, you'll have the "no segues please, we're purists" brigade on our backs. Plus, allowing a piece of software to do it for you -- how gauche. I'll witter further - it's as though you assembled this fine group of artists, produced a list of all their songs, taking care to remove any "known" tracks, pinned it to the wall and lobbed darts at it. Ah, I'm just ragging ya; it's a good mix for all that, and has a most amusing title. All in all, well done. No doubt, I'll be hearing from your solicitor. Take care now.

yes indeed a terific cover and plenty good stuff to get all segued up over. Personally, I should think segueing is a whole lot of fun but I do prefer to hear each track in it's entirety.

Enjoy your new software gizmo all you want. However, if your 'gizmo' starts repeating "Bright light" I would suggest getting the hell outta the house.

Cool stuff here, for sure, although I'm silently cursing you for using "Charlie Don't Surf" when I've been planning on putting that track on my next solo mixed-genre mix (whenever that may be made) for months.

"Charlie Don't Surf" was actually a last-minute addition; not one of my favorite Clash tunes, but Apocalypse Now was on cable this week, and I flicked it on at that exact moment in Robert Duvall's dialogue. Figured it was karma.

Love it. Don't know all these, but the ones I do tell me I should know the rest. I actually just put that Portastatic song on a mix myself. Odd coincidence, amazing song.

Looks like a great mix to break in your new toy. It won't be long before you're counting the BPMs to create those seamless segues.
