Lots of difficult choices involved in this one: "Cockroach," "Different City," and "Here It Comes" won out in close races over "Convenient Parking," "Dark Center of the Universe," and "Summer" or "Willful Suspension of Disbelief" respectively. I also opted for the similar-sounding-but-equally-great "Breakthrough" and "Head South" over "Tundra/Desert." Finally, I tried to balance the three common types of MM song: aggressive, pretty/dreamy, and "looped" (e.g. "Diner", "Karma," "Out of Gas"). The highlight of making this was probably my discovery of "One Chance," a great song I previously hadn't noticed.Feedback:

Good job J. 3,8,11,15,18,19 and 21 (obviously) are highlights for me. I would have included their cover of Sleepwalking, Interstate 8 and perhaps Styrofoam Boots/It's All Nice On Ice, Alright although at nearly 7 minutes that might be take up more than its fair share of space.

I thought about excluding Float On and Ocean Breathes Salty, since they are so well known. But I ditched the idea: I really think they're two of MM's best songs. I've heard Float On dozens of times and I'm STILL not sick of it. To me, that's the mark of a truly great song.

I, too, am sad that "Tiny Cities" didn't make it, and "Shit Luck" another neglected favorite of mine, but there's plenty here to like. Agree that "Float On" is one of their best, and I'm happy to see favorites like "Heart Cooks Brain" and "Karma's Payment" made the cut.
