Comment:

Usually, I get a but depressed at the end of summer, even though I really love the autumn. This year, I am glad to see the back of it! Temperatures this week have been back down to a far more reasonable 40 degrees C and humidity is falling. In fact, joy of joys, we were back on the beach today! Hurray!

Great songs on here. I think the mood is set well. Love the opener even though as an album it was a bit of a letdown. I always love to see Blue States on an album, and I'm really digging the low into love combo. Also loving that Songs Ohia tune.

nice, it's really hot here still, planning something like this myself, but maybe Mike the pike and me are actually trying to get together again for a mix called "'soundtrack to a gangfight" beware for that one ;)

Nothing better than the warmth of the sun, except maybe listing to this.

Very cool. If you make a sequel, you should think about including "Indian Summer" by Beat Happening...

Hot Hot Hot! Love the 4/5 pairing as well as 8 through 11 and the ridiculously brilliant Songs: Ohia track. Go Gobi!

Well, if 40 degrees is considered reasonable, then I'm all for this mix. I do believe that at 40 degrees one's groove melts. Still, I'll give it a go...

this does look mighty fine. it's my favorite seasonal transition. I'm w/ locovinagre; seems these tunes would be nice to drive to.

A fabulous New Edition to a very impressive catalogue Gobi. The Low - Calexico stretch is just wonderful. As is the closer from Koop. By the way any doubts over which Bobby Brown is used here will be cleared up by clicking this link, and reading the hilarious first review...

Looks really nice and I do like the general vibe you've got going on here! I love the Koop, Calexico and Blue States. If the temperatures were coming DOWN to 40C then I'd definitely be happy to see the autumn too - yesterday was the first time after the summer I actually thought it was cold here, and it's nearly October! Frightening.
