Comment:
Actually a 2 Disc CD set that I submitted as a cassette to get 2 lists. This is just what the title implies, a collection of Minneapolis area bands (except the Gear Daddies, I cheated, they're from Austin, MN). Also dubbed "Minneapolis Madness" by Dave Ingels. I pretty much stuck to rock on this one, but I think it's very listener-friendly.
Feedback:
Who'd have thunk that Minneapolis was such a hotbed of great musical talent! And very nice to see Boiled In Lead! "Steven went to Mora when he had the Madman Blues/Had the Madman Blues/Steven went to Mora when he had the Madman Blues/They put him in St. Peter's and they took away his shoes."
Love that Dillinger Four, the Dylan Hicks, and loads of the others, too, but I gotta ask, shouldn't Scooby Don't be on here somewhere?
Happy Apple, D4, The Strike, Huskers, Mats, Siren Six, and so on.... Brilliant! The mixtape I made a few days ago and submitted also kicks off with 'Left of the Dial.'
