Disco was prominent in the music charts of both the US and UK in the late '70s, but these songs did considerably better in the UK. But not all was disco then as tracks 15-19 demonstrate. This mix features Candi Staton and the group Tavares (as shown in the picture). Suzi Quatro also did very well in the UK, but I picked only one song by her (as track 16). The UK chart position is given at the end of each song and, if it charted there, the US position (with the year if different).
