a mix made in 1997 and sent to elisio...it had been titled "Misc. #1" in line with the "Tape for Katie" and "Katie Too" titles, but I'd now rather title it something else...I've now borrowed the title off of the Sebadoh track and chosen "Beauty of the Ride"...

the tracks are borrowed heavily from movie soundtracks, namely from Shallow Grave, Batman and Robin, Trainspotting, Welcome to the Dollhouse, and Kids...all but Batman and Robin were formative film experiences for me in late high school and early college, but the Batman movie had some good stuff on the soundtrack (particularly "Moaner")...
