Comment:

The mutant spawn of Ms. Karen Adams and myself--LIVE AND UNCUT (to use phrasing more associated with her)!!! This was a lot of fun to put together and I was super-happy with her picks (if I hadn't picked a Mountain Goats song, I'd challenge anyone to figure out who did the odds and who did the evens on this one, but as it stands, I did and that makes it kinda obvious). The former title of this mix is from the pen of Mr. Albini; the current title is from the Roger Miller track (as Orchid correctly pointed out). Enjoy!

I woulda guessed it straight away Rob (no sh*t) with or without Darnielle. Turned out pretty darn well, i'd say.

The BBC appear obsessed with Iran at the moment. As I'm unable to stop listening to Radio 4, 5, 6 & 7 -- though not necessarily in that order -- this has become quite obvious and tiresome. So Yipee-ky-ay! for this mix; a timely reminder that there is still much fun to be had. Though any listener to "Woman's Hour" would be oblivious to this fact -- don't get me started.Yep, this looks most agreeable. Bung us a download link and close the circle.

I didn't realize Mr. Albini wrote King of the Road, or is that a typo? Well, regardless it's one of my favorite songs. Love the Tanya Tucker & Sonic Youth picks as well. Nice one.

I reckon the Big Black & Butthole surfers choices would have probably given it away anyhow.. Great choices from you both. A pleasing collaberation! Excellent 16-20 finale.

You kids have produced one cute mutant spawn. Not sure if it looks more like its papa or its momma. I bet the little guy sounds great though. Talk about your sonic youth

gobi:Au contraire, mon frere. Tracks 06 and 20 are both even and so selected by Mister Conroy.
You are correct in that Brazilian Girls tune was featured in the porn-O-ramic Musicgnome + DJ Karen Adams = Guide Book To Scandalous Behavio(u)r Pts.1 & 2mahdishain:Great live Blockheads, indeed. This could be from Stiff's Live or from an extensive unauthorised concert recording library but I am not 100%. You might want to ask sistergothique which is where that mp3 came from. Chuuch!
