Comment:
The concept of this was "invented" by a friend a few years ago, and I participated for the first time last year - the point is to fit the twenty songs that have been the most important for you during the year, ranked, (release date doesn't matter) on a mix CD, in ascending order i.e. track 1 is n¦ 20 and track 20 is n¦1. We made the other people participating listen to our respective best-ofs as a blind test.It was a lot of fun to do, even if course due to the nature of the concept, it probably doesn't flow very well as a mix CD. Also, "Vesuvius" by Vic Chesnutt should have been there but it didn't make the cut because of length issues.Feedback:
well in my completely arseholed state I don't understand the concept . . . . but I love all things Bob . . . and his does it for me now . . .
Tremendous, Love the Sodastream and Will Johnson in particular.
This is a great idea and a great mix. I'm esp partial to track 20 and I'm a big fan of 5, 10 & 12, as well...
Very fine programming.
