Comment:

This one's a goof, but a fun one at that. Wasn't sure if I wanted to make a lounge music mix (I've got about a dozen of those sickeningly wonderful Ultra Lounge compilations) or a porn soundtrack mix (capitalizing on an insanely bizarre comp of music supposedly from 70's porn flicks); ended up with sort of a mutant blend of both and neither. I fit 30 songs into 80 minutes by doing a lot of early fades and cross-fading, making for a disorienting and disturbing mix (and the first one in quite a while that caused my wife to run to the stereo and turn it off). Either terribly wonderful or wonderfully terrible, not quite sure yet. Thanks to Rob Conroy for the Bonzo tunes.

A mix is a success in my book if somebody runs to the stereo to turn it off! There are some crackers on here for sure, but I might have to run when Captain Kirk does LSD . . .

i absolutely love the idea, & it looks like it turned out pretty successful too. great songs all around & a very cohesive yet purposely fractured theme makes for a wonderful mix.

#2 scares me... your ending is super... all in all an accidental porn halloween comp?

Wonderful. I've tried making a porn mix, with soundbites and all, but end up not doing it since I'm such a prude. Porn and lounge mix well. Mauricio GarcTs would be proud of you.

yeah, I've got a fistful of those 'Ultra Lounge' sets too. they're great for the right mood. this looks like a cigarette-smoking, martini-swirling, accidental-nudity-revealing, carefully-lit-with-lights-of-red-and-gold musical extravaganza to me. and now I want to hear it.

I think I would absolutely love this. I'm certainly fond of the devil and lounge tunes.

Oh baby! I want to take a tram ride with you and Mr. Satan!! Please say you'll either make this available or trade with me. I've lived too long without Julie London singing The Mighty Quinn.

You Know My Name (Look Up the Number) is one of my all time favorite Beatles songs. So bizarre and atypical, yet tons of fun. How lovely to see it on this mix. Great job.

I LOVE this! I especially love that Mel Torme track - it's perfect here. And you really can't go wrong with the Bonzos.
