oh bad brains. need i say more? no of course not. but still, kids if you like the punk and haven't heard the bad brains, well then arent you a silly goose. get yourself down to the record store and pick up one of their wax cylindars.

this mix is made to comfort myself since i can't see them at cbgb's this week. sigh. it would have been nice, tho probably not as energetic as the past. still seeing the brains together and cohesive is like trying to catch lightning in a bottle, or maybe more like eating your favorite ice cream in the sun- you don't know how long it's going to last. due to cd space limitations i had to eliminate some choice tracks, but, i decided to leave the reggae on, and so some faves must go (yes, one track from rise would have made the cut, and maybe one from black dots as well). and i don't care what you hardcawh brains lovers say...god of love is totally underrated. live with it.
