My husband recently made me aware of Donovan Frankenreiter's music and I found I really like his style, which is very similar to that of Jack Johnson. In fact, two of the Donovan Frankenreiter songs include Jack Johnson on vocals. Most of the music on this mix are from the most recent albums of several of my favorite artists, such as: Tom Petty, Calexico, Guster, Nickle Creek and Ben Kweller. Colony, however, is a group I only recently found out about and I have taken to their album, "Siren" right away. They also fit really well into this mix, which has a free-flowing, devil-may-care, travelling companion feel to it.
