Comment:
This is my yearly birthday mix, applying the usual rules. To be included the songs had to be themed around or contain the words: "birthday" ( OK, I couldn't find any appropriate "birthday" songs again this year,) "time", or "October"; have been released in the past year (2005-2006) or be linked to personal events of the past twelve months. It has really been a weird year, with two defunct romances/friendships, I had a lot of songs that fall into that last category and an overall eclectic mash of tunes. that last that l After massaging the songs on iTunes, I got all 19 songs to fit and with perfect flow to boot. The cover came together well, considering I essentially threw it together after I realized I did not have any celebration plans this year. :(.Feedback:
That's a really nice beginning. As a friendly Aquarian, I have to say these Libran mixes tend to be downright melancholy....you know, that stuff that Librans blame on their Aquarian friends. Damn y'all for being so smart.
the couver art is beautifull... happy birthday... my roomie is an october babie too.. im obsessed with the bright eyes tune and Hot Hot Heat is a home town band!
This looks really nice. really liking the 9-11 run. It seems sort of melancholy with a twist of hope.
Good was my initial word of choice for this mix. I am going to upgrade it to VERY good. Damn! now I want hear it...I better get to work...anyway -- happy birthday.
