Comment:
To That Girl (TM), who has moved beyond being the bee's knees and has become something else entirely more sweet. Title from the pen of Marty Balin.Feedback:
Looks amazing. Love that Grant Hart tune! Five stars.
Oh sweet Lady of the Sea! This is ruddy super. You know what it is, and it's all here. If this mix was only tracks 1-6, it would be eminently enjoyable -- but look! there's 16 more songs - woohoo!
Sweet stuff Rob. 4-7 and 14-17 are particularly choice.
well, that answers my question.... hats off.
this is unquestionably great. my favorite white stripes song, proven & true otis tune, & i'm loving the stooges, van the man, kinks, & rufus wainwright tracks. something oughta be said for that closer too. wonderful job, rob
From the Archies to Method Man, you are hitting on all cylinders.
What the world needs now (aside from an indictment of George W. Bush and his whole damn party) is more mixes with the Archies and the Stooges a couple tracks apart. Also, love sweet love... but that goes without saying. (And, hey, is it just me, or has "New York Groove" been enjoying a huge uptick in cultural significance lately?)
Ah, this looks wonderful!
A nice one
Corgan twice in a week Rob?, careful he might win you over ;) Love 8, and the closing 4. Really nice.
Here's hope this mix is something the bees knees allows you to become all arms.
I bet she has also knocked your socks off Rob. 1-8 and 15-22 is what the world needs now.
Great mix. Looks like the secret ingredient is 'awwwww'...
HELL yeah, this is great! Barrydali is right, BILLY is QUITE the charmer.
Lots of nice picks here Rob.
This mix could be my new favourite waste of time. I'd love a copy. Actually, the track I mentioned is better known in the UK by a geezer called Owen Paul, I don't have the Marshall Crenshaw version. As for the rest of this? Terrapin, Foolish Love, Cuddle Up.. Make No Mistake, this is wonderful.
Yummy. Just love it. I love that Marshall Crenshaw song, too!
Worth it just for the Climax Blues Band for me, best post gidg party I Ever went to was one of theirs! Mind you I was only 16 at the time. Long may the feeling last Rob!
very nice, congratulations!
looks great, hope she enjoys it !
I'm sure she will enjoy.
Oh you old romantic. Looks sensational, though we're starting to catch on to your closet love for Smashing Pumpkins. Billy don't be a hero.
Christ almighty. Musical equivalent of a long island iced tea really... makes you all giggly, happy and a little bit dizzy.
Damn great!
So sweet, and much mellower than we usually see from you. I'm happy for you, my friend.
I wish you two the best. Songbirds forever.
So full of love I could burst apart and start to cry.
Positively throbs with good vibrations. Mad for that Otis track right now I am.
Another absolutely lovely addition to this sub-category (if that's what you want to call it!) of yours. The M&Ps song is, I think, officially my favourite romantic track, and I like the Otis Redding and Kinks a lot. Good closer too. Great all round!
