Comment:

Here it is the 3rd in the 'Listen With Difficulty ' Series. For the uninitiated it's where I deliberately make a mix that I know will drive my wife Helen up the wall! This one lulls her into a false sense of security, in that the previous 2 mixes would have had her racing for the off switch within seconds but here I've tried to create the impression (for her anyway) that I'm losing my touch. Barry can vouch for the 6 Organs track he was sorta present when Helen heard it yesterday afternoon, 'Ridiculous male shit' was the response I got if my vin rouge addled memory recalls correctly. I think the final cut is by The Guillemots btw but I can't be certain on that one. The OTC cover of The Beachboys is blinding (The BeachBoys original version is too listenable to feature here. No apologies (cept maybe to the long suffering Mrs. that is) for using several artists who've featured quite prominently in my mixes of late. This type of mix don't come easy so I have to keep notes when I come across suitable 'Difficult Listening' when compiling other mixes. I'd say enjoy but many won't, for my part I think it's the best yet hee hee.

Well as you don't seem to be of the Groucho Marx persuasion mon ami 'Nomates' certainly you can join. We can use my music den at the bottom of the garden as our club house & I hereby appoint you vice president. - All other applications to be forwarded to the new vice president. All we need now is a club name!

President (Non-member) and ever-so-slightly mad: French Connection. Vice-President: Nomates - and it's probably better if he keeps it that way.Thank you for your interest, membership is now closed. Hot stuff hear Cliff. I will be posting a mix later today with a Grizzly Bear track and didn't have room for a TV On The Radio track-so I like your thinking. I agree with Mixxer-Helen is a Saint!

Hell yeah. I'd love a listen to see just how unlistenable this really is. My other half appears to hate all songs by everyone, ( I tell a lie, she does own 'The Prodigy Experience' and 'Justified' by that Timberlake fella ) so I couldn't partake in said theme, it'd be all to easy....

This is nice, and it's so wonderful that you put so much time & energy into making your spouse auditorily miserable. When I wanted to torture my ex, I just put on Metal Machine Music at top volume.

And really, why would anyone turn off the Fugs.

This would be very well accepted in a local dining establishment. This kind of stuff is also appreciated in local Chinatown souvenir shops. I don't know why. But there ya go, that is the genius that you are able to display.

I think I might be a bit late in here but can I join the club too? I like how it sounds kind of like the Secret Seven, but with music instead of smugglers' caves. I will provide the home-made lemonade and rock cakes, and possibly Timmy the dog too. But anyway - this is great and I love your comments! It really all looks good to me and the TV On The Radio, Cul De Sac/Fahey and NMH are all great inclusions.
