Comment:

"Twenty years of punk? There must've been ten years when there wasn't anything going on, right? There were a few years at the start, and now. What happened in between? " - Mick Jones of the Clash in Musician, 1995
I'm feeling better, but also feeling rather old so that's all the nostalgia for now. Thanks go out to Pop Kulcher for inspiring this one a few months back.

This is absolutely top-notch and it kind of reminds me of my '80s indie mix that I did last year (http://www.artofthemix.org/FindAMix/getcontents.asp?strMixID=96725)...

Wonderful. Thanks for the DL, this'll get me all nostalgic for a period I spent listening to The Pet Shop Boys and Gloria Estefan. Too much information? Hey ho, we live & we learn....

All kinds of great stuff that reminds me of my younger days. Seeing Bob Stinson play a drunken Reps show in the nude will be an enduring memory for this 40-something. Sad to see Musician magazine go belly up, along with Option and the Trouser Press, but I digress.

Still catching up on the last instalment - liking the look of this a lot, though.

Jimminy Christmas this is the shit! So many favorite bands, songs, and a whole era of music that I love to pieces. If I set out to make a similar mix we'd be duplicating LOTS of the same songs.
