Comment:
For the hell of it--completely and utterly compiled for the sheer joy of mixing. Thanks to alma cogan for the Bug/Rootsman track, to lo-fi jr for hipping me to Perry Leopold, and to SwankQueen for hipping me to the This Mortal Coil cover. Title by Mr. Barry Gibb.Feedback:
Yowza! This one's everywhere at once.
Every one's a winner, baby
Wow! Crack The Sky!!! Cool!
I so love your closer.
Quite the trip...
Diggin the Wonder, Tribe, Devo and BeeGees tracks.
What a wild and wonderful trip. This is quite an eclectic mix. I like the 15-18 run.
You cannot know how truly poignant that Bee Gees song is to me . I saw this mix title and had an instant "lump in the throat" moment. What's that all about? I know that the rest of the mix is awash with excellence; but I'm stuck at the end...I'll be back later...
Fucking incredible, my friend! Wooden Wand into Ying Yang Twins into Dream Syndicate=good stuff.
Nice, killer closing 4.
What I know here, I REALLY like. I'd enjoy hearing this.
That 15-24 stretch is just wondeful my friend. And don't get me started on tks 7,10 & 11..great stuff. The homeboy in me says thanks for Tk8 also (pure filth)
Excellent - all over the shop (in a good, good way). And what better reason is there for a mix than the sheer pleasure of putting it together?
cool stuff.
omg. Stevie Wonder, The Bug, Devo, Deerhoof, Dead Moon... i wish i still made mixes, but i've become too self conscious of the mediocrity of my taste for verse chorus verse fare that's easy to memorise. i think you sent me two tapes once, and i was really sad because one of them got eaten by the laundry machine or something..
