Feedback:
5 stars for the title and cover art and title alone. And posted on election day - what a nice touch.
I only know a couple songs here, so I'd better get my ass over to the evening service. I might even leave a little something in the tip jar.
Really like the Harrison track.
Judy Nylon! Brenda and the Tabulations! You got it together, Orchid.
Diets & religion...? Praise the lard, I say! ;)Glorious looking stuff, Lucie; am receiving communion as I type.
And, if I may, I would like to cite the good book of AoTMithians, where it says:"If the Orchid Doust Mixeth. Then, the Gnome shall listeneth.Praise be!"Can I Get an AMEN!?
Hallelujah!
praise the Lord, Orchid. just yesterday I prayed at my bedside that you'd post another mix. I only know that terrific track at #8; can't wait to hear this. by the way, you were my write-in candidate for US Senate.
Don't know very much here but do love that Brenda & The Tabulations.
Amen sister.
Well, the cover art is hilarious. The girl is in a much happier place now. Maybe she found god after hearing this here mix. I'm about to follow suit. Praise be...
Typically marvellous!
Looks devilish! Thanks for the link.
Inspirational!
WOW, this a great listen! Thou hast outdone thineself.
Praise floralia! (I was just reading from the Book of Galoshes yesterday..., the verses about "these boots are made for walkin'.."! I tend to skip Calorians I & II...)
I know virtually nothing here, but am looking forward to my ecclesiastical education.
In the meantime, I'm working on a Lo-Cal wafer called "I Can't Believe It's Not Jesus!"

Ha! Love Jenergy's comment re:wafers :-D [Can't wait to use that line myself ;) ]
Tunefully (lo-cal) waferliciously great.
Mmmm... what to eat first, the cake or the Book?Lovely to lay hands on this one!
Listening to this now - the Judy Nylon song is beyond fantastic.
even at church...how could you Orchid?????
Apparently in the later Jewish rabbinic literature the raven wondered the same thing and refused to go, accusing Noah of trying to destroy its species. (interesting considering the raven is one of the smartest species of birds)
Worth singing for. Gloria!
Many many thanks for the transubstantiated link, which is pulsing through my system as we speak. I'm particularly digging the reincarnated "Old Cowhand", "Jailhouse Rock" & "Rubber Room", but you know I'm a sucker for that old time religion & those old tyme movies.
Glorious, thanks!
Glorious, thanks!
can you believe I have to go to Boston this weekend? I'm packing this mix in my bag for repeated airplane listening. first time through favorites: 2/5/21. but I was running all around at work, so it's really not fair.
