Comment:
An exercise for my Country-deprived music library: thumb through a copy of the All Music Guide to Country and find one song from each of the artists listed. I'm still not sure if I'll make it to Z (and some of these songs I'm still ... getting used to), but this is exposing me to some new and different music.
Feedback:
A fantastic idea! I look forward to future instalments.
"this is exposing me to some new and different music." -- Always a good thing. I wish you well on your journey.
very nice :) you certainly picked Ryan Adams' definitive track, IMO.
This is a Matt Hinrich's mix!? When did you move to Texas? Where's the synth pop, the Motown numbers, the loungy instrumentals? But seriously, I'm glad to see that you're expanding your musical horizons. Just don't start smoking Marlboros. So exactly how many volumes do you have in store?
This looks really interesting to say the least.
Nice first edition. Cover is wonderful. Looking forward to 25 more volumes.
I love that Deborah Allen song. especially when she yells out, "Baby! Baby! Baby!..." before breaking into the chorus again. you know what I mean.
