Comment:
"Won't you tell me, brave Captain, why are the wicked so strong? How do the angels get to sleep when the Devil leaves his porch light on?" - Tom Waits, "Mr. Siegal" abangaku, having taken up slipperyhangdoglook's restated challenge, tosses his hat in the ring in the redemption game. Maybe that's just how this sequence of artists was designed -- put together by slipperyhangdoglook and me to be brought together twice, in two completely different flipside mixes. Right now I don't know if he plans to post his mix but I'm listening to it now... it's quite tantalizing for sure. Maybe I'm imagining the transfer of the theme I decided I needed to include in order to give my own mix solidity... the devil leaves his porch light on, where will I be when that trumpet sounds, everybody's waiting for judgment day, when they said Repent I wondered what they meant, angel came down from heaven yesterday... but there's plenty a fair share of redemption on this mix's mirror image, too. I wonder who's in charge of apportioning kismet over there in radio-land....UPDATE: slipperyhangdoglook's mix is now up here...!(yeah that's right, i gots me one o' them exclamation thingies and i'm not afraid to use it....)
