Comment:
I made this tape to commemorate my trip to Washington DC to see the Trembling Blue Stars and Barcelona live. All of the bands on this tape operated out of the DC/Maryland/Virginia area at some point in time. See if you can guess how many times pop superstars Mark Robinson, Jenny Toomey, Pam Berry and Archie Moore (among others) show up on this tape.Feedback:
Robinson=6, Berry=5, Toomey=2, Moore=2. Do I win? I think Saturday People are the dc pop band of the future.
Oooooh. Close but no cigar. You are spot on with the Robinson and Berry counts, but Toomey and Moore both appear more than twice...
Extra credit for anyone who can spot how many times Rob Christiansen shows up on this tape...

I'm going to go with 3 on Christiansen. I forgot that Toomey was part of the Liquorice project. I'm still confused about Archie Moore though...heartworms, velocity girl...and..?
Archie Moore was in the Black Tambourine! You got the Christiansen right too. Good job!
hey. i'd like to claim this tape as a tribute to MY trip to dc to see trembling blue stars. maybe we bumped into eachother. maybe i spilled your beer. who knows?
makes one wish they'd been a part of that music scene.
