Comment:
Today I'm giving thanks for living in (or actually just near) a city with a diverse musical heritage that includes one of the oldest Delta blues proponents, the psychedelic secret life of an Elvis impersonator, freaky session musicians, a mind-blowing street musician, laughable but heartfelt proto-prog and simply laughable satanic ritual music.Based on (but not affiliated with) the semi-regular series by Plastic Crimewave. I've uploaded the first as well as the latest edition here -
volume 1
volume 2

Feedback:
My God, this is absolutely transcedent. Couldn't possibly give this high enough praise.
LINKS TO BOTH VOLUMES. Is it Christmas already?
The Chicago Loop??! and the Five Stairsteps? I'm tickled. TICKLED. STOP! IT HURTS TO LAUGH!
Fuck YES!!! You are a good man, lo-fi jr. This is tremendously great. I'm downloading RIGHT NOW.
This looks absolutely wonderful! Thanks for letting this particular hepcat out of the bag!
I absolutely loved Volume 1 and am looking forward to this immensely, so Thank you. I know a grand total of 5. Track 2 is wonderful. By the way, dig the artwork, very Wonder Years ha ha..
volume one was a prominent part of my summer soundtrack. REALLY pleased to see this one continued. . . thx from a Chicagoan.
DO continue... I am inspired!! Amazing!!!
Epicycle! Saucedo! The Bachs! Impala Syndrome! Hell, Chicago does ROCK! Great volume here lo-fi!
Wonderful. Are you close enough to get a copy of the Chicago Reader? They have a feature cartoon that looks at one person/band from early 60's Chicago rock also called A Secret History of Chicago Music. Also a lot of fun.
Wow! A stunning set of secrets here. Congrats on MotW :)
You did good.
hmmmmm, very nice. I can't wait to download and check all this magic out. Good to see you are still at it.
Holy shit. These two mixes are nothing less than incredible. Thanks so much! Amapola! Where's my pipe?

Congrat's lo-fi!!!!!!!!
