Comment:
A super-quick "for the hell of it" mix that skirts Dadrock territory a little more than I'd like. That said, it's a pleasant listen. Thanks to SwankQueen for hipping me to the beauty of that This Mortal Coil cover. Title courtesy of Mr. Waits.Feedback:
Great looking mix.
7-12 are really wicked but it probarbly work just because of that
This looks awesome, as usual.
Love everything I know here. Which is quite a lot of it. Great opening couplet, and that's a killer 7-15 stretch. Good work Rob. Oh, and cheers for the Appendix Out link you sent earlier :)
Nice variety here. And Courtney's most significant addition to the canon.
keep those "for the hell of it" mixes comin!
Good stuff. 7,9,10,12,15 do it for me.
looks good, rob -- the tom waits, dead kennedys, dylan & pretenders tracks stand out the most to me
Terrific stuff. Great James Taylor pick.
Dad rock??? I think not. Perhaps hot mama rock, as I suspect it's for that girl you go on about! Great mix, nonetheless.
Dad rock? Is there something that you need to tell us? ;) Some tasty pleasures here, that even great grandparents would like.
From a well known American Dad: "Oh, holy crap!"Why crap would be holy is a mystery to me... but there you are.Superb mix, even for an Old Phart like me!!!
Wonderful!
Choo Choo Rob, love the opener and the 7-15 run.
Are ween and DK dad rock now? shit. (I am a dad, but still)
Really nice. Great 13-15 section.
Definitely poidom going on.
Cool stuff - you do have a habit of putting together some fine for-the-hell-of-it mixes! Like the Lou Reed inclusion a lot, and the Pretenders seems like it fits really well.
