Comment:

For That Girl (TM)--her second mix this week and 8th romantic mix overall. The Everly Brothers track was included by request--the Neko Case/Carl Newman cover of it is one of her all-time favorites. Title by Paul McCartney--I almost called it "Making (a mix) each day of the year."

IMHO your best romantic mix (so far). LOVE the Townes track, great opener and the final 9 just crush.

A very lot to like here. I'm not familiar with 3, 9, 10, 18, 22 or 23, so I'll have to give a listen. Ditto Hemizen.

Looks wonderful, can't wait to hear it, though I can't imagine anything could top the last romantic mix you made.

Beautiful and some of my favourite picks in particular on this one - the Bjork, Elliott Smith, Beach Boys and Talking Heads to name a few. This just might be my favourite of your romantic mixes! (And that's some stiff competition.)

Pretty mix, good for snuggling. I like the cinematic sort of thread that picks up again when "Somewhere" sweeps away the dirge-like cobwebs of L. Cohen. One of these days we'll take that afternoon nap we've been day-dreaming of. Nice closer. Thanks for the love!

PS -- dig the 6-10 stretch in particular.
