Comment:

Yet another car tape, this one pretty evenly split between dancy music, guitary rock music, and folky nonsense, which works better than I'd been expecting. And yes, I did deliberately include The Auteurs, Luke Haines, Black Box Recorder, and Sarah Nixey, just for the hell of it. Speaking of Sarah Nixey, does anyone know where the L she always used to have after the X in her last name went to? And speaking of The Pussycat Dolls, my new favorite fact is that apparently on the inside cover of their CD it says in big letters, "All vocals and backing vocals by Nicole Scherzinger" or something to that effect. They make no bones about their prefabbiness, and I love it.

since when do you use capital letters? and why don't more people use isobel campbell more than once on a mix? nice to see you back again.

Hole, Ramones, Breeders, Isobel Campbell, Macy Gray, Queen...Yoko Ono! your mixes are amazing. I especially like the one w/ the flying-saucer-landing-in-a-forest cake. and this mix had me speaking in tongues for almost 25 seconds.
