Comment:
For some reason, a month or so back I decided it would be fun to make a mix whose song titles contained the names of baseball players. Why, I don't know - it's not as if I'm the hugest baseball fan in the world. But anyway, here it is (and with lots of suggestions from others for tracks). Of course, two tracks don't contain the names (or nicknames) of baseball players: the bands are named after ballplayers. As for the last track (not actually listed on the mix recipient's copy): its presence is left as an exercise for the reader. It's sort of a British crossword-puzzle kind of clue... (The title of the mix comes from the SF Seals song - as does the inspiration for the cover art.)
Feedback:
Haven't been much of a baseball fan since the Blue Jays hey-day, but this looks fantastic, regardless of the theme! But, amazing execution though. Cool theme.
i am a huge baseball fan. would love to hear this.
Too friggin awesome for words. I need this.
Spectacular cover and an amazing mix!
Nice mix. Those wonderfully crazy Pirates of the 70's. From Dock's LSD no-no in '71 to Stargell and "Family" in '79, there was certainly some magical substance(s) circulating under those hilarious hats and yellow jerseys; enjoying the game and havin' fun.
