Comment:
My long-planned alt-DJ collaboration with AotM's own Jana (she's odd, I'm even), whose absence here saddens me (it's been a long, long time--a couple of years?--since she's posted a mix). A snappy collection, for sure, and, as these types of projects often are, a helluva lot of fun to compile and to listen to. Thanks to lo-fi for the Friend & Lover track and to SwankQueen for the U.K. Subs track. Title paraphrased from the Leonard Cohen track. Great collab, good stuff throughout but the final 5 are killer.
really nice.
Love the Friend and Lover choice and lots of others.
This looks great. I like the 12-16 run.
Hey it does look fun. Nice work, DJs.
wonderful collab fellas -- & based off this, she needs to start posting again, & soon!
So groovy now that you got together. Love those Kinks and Specials tunes.
Super fun!
damn! Friend & Lover must be the latest trend here! I love all of it, looks excellent
Extremely well put together...great flow! Love the Burma track!!
Another wondrous mix. Love the opening six. 9, 12-14. And 20 thru the end is amazing..
Man, I've been looking for "Reach Out of the Darkness" for ages. Great song. Now all you need is "Come On Down To My Boat, Baby," by Every Mother's Son. For some reason, I've always conflated those two songs in my head.
this looks bitchin.
Reach out in the darkness - & you may find a mix!!!
I have reached out & grabbed this & am enjoying it greatly - I couldn't fit it all onto one CD so had to drop the final Elvis, which no doubt spoils your well-planned design, but I have to tell you it winds up pretty nicely with Dusty, anyway . . .

Glad I caught this before it dropped off- it's terrific indeed.
Great stuff - think I need to check out Jana's old posts, too...
Eminently listenable, even though Rob steals all "my" songs! Love #12 especially but everything else is truly great.
Lovely, lovely, lovely stuff! Well done mate.
Very, very nice! Though I think it's kind of mean to call Jana odd. I kid, I kid :) Great choices by both of you - love your Pavement, Coxon and Thom Yorke, and her Laura Nyro, MoB and Dusty. I wish Jana still posted mixes too!
Amazing mix you two put together. Especially digging 15 and 24... brings back memories of high school.
Did I miss this? Oops. Its a blinder folks!
I simply cannot get enough of this. It's been on constant repeat on my I-Pod all week. A belter. The Eddy Arnold, Eno & Hopewll tracks are my current faves. Encore!
