Comment:
I attempted to make a mix of killer songs in languages other than in English, but I couldn't come up with enough of them. It gradually devolved into some songs containing English, but a healthy portion of the song had to be sung in a foreign language, OR the song had to be by a non-native English speaker (hence the Swede-rock and the Japanese music at the end). The Bj÷rk song is the Icelandic version of the Sugarcubes' "Birthday Song," and watch out for the Deerhoof song (sung in Spanish by a Japanese girl!).Feedback:
looks like a great one, S±r Nihilism. the Icelandic version of "Birthday" is heavenly. but since you couldn't come up with enough killer non-English-language songs for your mix, I guess you've got some exploring to do!
Great theme. Just kick back and watch-you will find plenty more on this site.
Ah a theme I explored recently in my mix called Tongue. This looks very cool. I'm with the tornado on Birthday too.
nice idea. you could always replace "languages other than english" with "lyrics that aren't really words" if you're really in a bind!
