The concept of this was "invented" by a friend a few years ago, and I participated for the first time last year - the point is to fit the twenty songs that have been the most important for you during the year, ranked, (release date doesn't matter) on a mix CD, in ascending order i.e. track 1 is n¦ 20 and track 20 is n¦1. I kind of cheated this year because normally everything is supposed to fit on a 80-minute CDR, but the really long songs (Joanna Newsom and Lambchop) just had to be there.

As usual, the people participating listen to each other's mixes as blindtests, and it's a lot of fun
