And a Happy New Year to You, Mr. Swede. The immensely astute hemizen is, as ever, correct -- track 8 is a masterpiece, one of the best titles and best songs of 2006. Ah, it all seems so long ago, long ago when a Scandinavian chap could always count on new year's snow. So the global warming lobbyists remove another sweater and wag their fingers at the wicked and carefree consumers, who scuttle away in their massive 4X4's, beaming as they pump up their in-vehicle 2000 watt stereo systems, making mush of their ear-drums to the groovy strains of a stolen copy of this mix. To hell in a Hummer, with idiot smiles for all. Oh, it's a harsh and unforgiving world, made glorious summer in January by melting ice caps and this little cracker of a mix. Vroom, vroom...

Yes, It's snowfree here in San Diego too, so I really think there's something to this global warming. Not familiar with much on this mix of the month, but it must be keeping your house (and the rest of Sweden) warm.

Happy new year, my friend. I don't think I've heard a single song on this, so I can't say much more...

The best of 2006 in 12 neat volumes. Each and every one has been excellent. Faves on December for me include Art Brut, Peter, Bjorn & John, Simian, Jenny Lewis & Polytechnic. What will 2007 provide? Can't wait..

Now all you need to do is release these in a 12-disc box set ;) These have all been wonderful showcases of tracks and this is no exception - like the Art Brut. Happy New Year to you too!

Nice stuff, and a quality end to a quality series. A very happy NY - will you be doing the same for 07? Certainly hope so.
