Comment:

This year's first super-quick (perhaps the quickest of them all thus far) "for the hell of it" (TM) mix. Thanks to SwankQueen for the Willie Bobo and Circle Jerks tracks, to Mark P for the Avett Brothers track, to Barrydali for the MC4 track and to sammyg123 for reminding me how cool that Love song is. Title by Ladyhawk--check out their self-titled album ASAP if you know what's good for you. ;-)

Ditto re: "Exit Flagger." Otherwise, eclectic as all get-out, as usual; looks cool all around.

Awesome, as usual, Rob. Love the SCG,Avett Brothers, and Sonic Boom picks a lot. Gotta say I'm totally on board with that endorsement of Ladyhawk, though (surprise!) :-). Ride on, Black Mountain Army!

You're spoiling us at the moment Rob, truly. Lots of faves mixed with lots of new 'uns. The perfect mix formulae?

My wife says I'm also super-quick, though I'm not sure that's a compliment. Anyway, this looks like a fine FTHOI mix (patent pending). Always good to see Mega City Four (whatever happened to them?), some vintage GBV and Lovin' Spoonful. Recently discovered that Scritti Politti still has it, as I've really been enjoying the new record. Green is like 45 years old now, though he still sounds like he just entered middle school.

Very lovely stuff indeed, once again! Like the Davy Graham in the middle there and totally agreeing with Moe on the Scritti Politti sentiments. And I'll definitely check out the Ladyhawk recommendation.

Quick eh? In fact "super-quick" is the mot juste you employ. Well, you have exposed the old "more haste..." maxim. Nice to see Scritti Politti and Love on here, and a cracking opener and closer to boot. Relentless you may be, but this has no effect on quality. I am bowing even as I type.
