This all-instrumental (save the first track, I guess) mix has been in the works for some time, and I'm still not sure if it's to my complete satisfaction, which is why a Part II is in the works. But here it is, an uber dose of jazz/soul/funk/r&b from the sixties (1963's Orchestral Music) to today (2005's Insect Song). If you like twang-drippin' wha-wha guitars and thumpin' Hammond B-3 action, then this mix is for you.1-15

I was listening to this yesterday, and was totally blown away. That 19-23 stretch was particulary impressive. Amazing stuff.
