As I have made a concerted effort to "catch up with the times", I can now state with a certain level certainty...this rocks. Too many highlights to note, but I must say, Extra Points for the Fujiya & Miyagi Track!!!
I'm with musicgnome on the Fujiya & Miyagi and the Knife track is one of my favs from last year as is Crazy.
some of this i know & like but the rest remains a mystery.
Although I know & love pretty much everything on display I have to say my faves are tk2 and the 5-10 stretch. Oh, and I dig the Hot Chip/Knife twin-up..
Awesome, and rather daunting as I realize how poorly I've kept up with current tunage.
Good looking list. 5 and 6 would be on my faves of '06 as well.
3,6,7 and 15 would be on my list... Jeez, there was alot of good stuff in 06! Nicely done.

hey - it looks like 2006 was a good year for music! i love hearing that opening track mashed up with joe jackson.
I have to echo Jenny there - I bought shamefully few new releases last year. Looks like I have a bit of catching up to do, as I like a lot of what I see here. Particularly liked the Jarvis and Hot Chip releases - and of course CSS!

Fantastic disc, Mr. Swede. Four and 7 were some of my top favourites for the year.
It's no secret that you're the Peter in Peter, Bjorn and John, so is it really fair to include yourself among the year's best? Lots of other cool stuff here - CSS, Concretes Blondes, The Sleepy Jackson Five, B&S and Hot Chocolate Chip.
I love tracks 1, 3, 6, 7, 14, and 15 (especially 15) and would like to hear the rest.
