31. Bobby Vinton - Blue on Blue (#3)..............32. Peter, Paul & Mary - Blowin' in the Wind (#2)...........The mix starts off with a few chart toppers by girls singing about boys (from the days when girl groups were really big). This mix also features two songs by the Beach Boys (in the days when surfing and beach parties were a craze). As usual, I'm supplying a link (on the first song title) to the mix in mp3 format. Hope you enjoy this little sojourn back in time.

Great to see you back on the boards Joe. A fantastic opening three here. A few songs I know but not by those artists ( 4 & 19 ). And I've loved Blue on Blue since Royksopp re-worked it a few years back...
Now that was an excellent year of music. Nice work.
I like that you note top chart positions and have included some lesser hits. This sort of scooted off the pop tracks with the Tony Bennett inclusion (to me) but a great set overall.
I've always loved that Rolf Harris track (even now that we's redone it with the Wiggles). The opening five are simply great, as are 8-10, 14,21,24 and 26. Nicely done, Joe.
