Comment:

On both sides, this was The Tape That Would Not End. Made it for the Beth-friend whom I'm visiting this coming weekend. If there's a lot of repetition between this and my last few tapes, well, it's because I want Beth to hear all the awesome music I've been listening to in my car. The Lt. Uhura song is taped directly from my new Star Trek DVD, and no, I'm not ashamed.

Shelley Duvall is one of my favorite actresses. Have you seen "Brewster McCloud?" anyway, happy to see a song by her here, and love the opening few on side 2 among others. any interest in a cassette swap? would love to hear some of the unfamiliar stuff you've been listening to in your car.

This looks rather fun though the fun is rather spoilt by Joan Baez who might epitomise fun in private but is never fun on record unless protest tickles your funny bone. The same could not be said of Fairport Convention who boozed for England and well what Sandy Denny did on the maypole would have made a pole dancer blush. I'm not keen on wasted women like Edie Sedgwick but Anna Karina has made me waste a lot of time in idle fantasy. I'm sure Beth will enjoy this sonic feast.
