Comment:

Made in reaction to the rather lame strip offerings on the market - some tracks are for stripping & others for grinding. This mix is deadicated to the mighty mixer Greaseball wherever he is. I hope he still finds time to sniff out gems from the thrift stores and will one day return to AOTM and submit a mix.

You always bring a smile, Dom. I remain forever envious of your library.

I don't care what French Connection says, I reckon your mixes are the biz ! Like Jonpoi says, they are guaranteed to raise a smile (and I'm sorry I missed some, I will try to catch up) . . . .

Nice html skills! ( very DJK ). And another great mix. Morphine, Denny, Link Wray, Peggy Lee to name but four...

Unfortunately, I only know about 1/3 of what's on here, Dom. As always, though, I remain in constant awe of yr mix-making abilities and ditto jonpoi on being envious of your library. Aces, my friend.

My wife wants to know if you'd provide a link to this. She says she wants to see me dance ;-)

This is quite marvellous and tastefully tacky. Many years ago there was a pub I would frequent in my lunch hour. For a brief, you-couldn't-make-this-up period there were strippers provided for our mid-day regeneration. I have a vivid -- vivid! I say -- memory of sipping warm beer, eating a rather tasty steak and kidney pie, whilst a pleasingly proportioned young beauty gyrated and discarded her wispy clothing to the accompaniment of The Glitter Band (how perverse that seems now). Incongruous, yet somehow life affirming. So thank you, Dom, it all comes flooding back. I apologise for that previous sentence, I really do.

Man this is a sexy ,sexy mix. If I were in a room with side 2 playing, the opening cut would have me slowly pulling off my gloves. by the end of Soul Coaxin', I'd have stripped down to pasties, g-string, and go-go boots. Then Nancy's voice would stir me into into a full-on Joey Heatherton on freak-out frug session. And by the time we got to The Belly Rub . . .

Alas, I don't have a copy of the mix, so I'll just sit sedately at my computer and admire Ms. Page's many gifts.

Worth the price of admission just for the Jayne-Jimi cut. Dig the Morphine, N. Sinatra and Donna Summer tracks as well... Is it warm in here?

I tip my helmet and raise my glass to any Technician/Magus of the Great Undressing! The alpha & omega of true mysteries slowly revealed over the course of a cassette! Pure magic! (Nice to see that Las Vegas Grind collection being used so purposefully!) I KNOW the beloved-but-absent mixer known as greaseball would love this. I guarantee.

This is on fire - if I were ever to venture into a strip joint (which you know I won't, but anyway) I would hope that at least some of this would be featured! I loooove that MArtin Denny/Cramps transition. Cool background too, by the way.
