Comment:
Extra Extra, Read All About It! Professor Poserlad posts yet another mix, full story on Page 12!Notes: Just some goddamn rock n roll, alright, some new, some old. That is the "Return the Gift" version of "Damaged Goods" I notice a heavy concentration of DC bands in the beginning. "The Freed Pig" must be the inspiration for 80% of all Strokes songs. The Ging Nang Boyz are a crazy and amazing punk rock band from Japan (the singer, the craziest of them all, Mineta, said I am a good singer!). One time in Hawaii, I was bored out of my mind and reading a shitty Palhaniuk book on the beach, thinking about how strangely hot the sun was on this strange island state, when I first truly appreciated the brilliance of "All World Cowboy Romance". This concludes page 12.
Feedback:
Good liner notes. I like good liner notes.
looks like a rocker alright. i dig.
Looks good to me. That Sebadoh song is one of my favorite songs of all-time.
Looks great Professor and I'm with Conroy regarding "The Freed Pig." Certainly one of the best kiss-off songs.
