Comment:

A humble introduction. Recordings from independent swedish labels such as MNW and Silence only. The formative years in the development of a unique brand of (mostly) left-wing progressive swedish music in the 70's. Hoola Bandoola Band had the biggest commercial impact in Sweden. TrSd grSs och stenar, Bo Hansson and Samla mammas manna earned some international recognition. Mainly psychedelic sounds and folk influenced songs. With a swedish twist!

Oh...and for anyone looking to see other Swedish Psych/Progressive Comps (albeit, nowhere as awesome as this), look to the 3 compilations entitled "Who Will Buy (These Wonderful Evils)?". The most recent volume having been release quite recently.

Wow... that title lured me in, and now I'm absolutely intrigued. Fascinated and baffled. How do you feel about providing direct links?

Outstanding!!!
(I would've doubled the jonpoi nomination as Mix of the Week but it seems there's a self-proclaimed Emperor of Editorship here. Not your fault telegram.) Great job and a wonderful compilation. (Does all this actually fit on one disc?)
